The Sony NEX-5N with 18-55mm lens is now $499, a savings of $200. An updated model will be released in October with wi-fi and a flip screen, so if you don’t need those features this is a great price. The retail price for the NEX-5R will be $750, which is $250 more. I’ve been using my Sony NEX-5N for the past year and its an excellent alternative to a SLR. The touchscreen is my favorite feature, which works similarly to the way you focus on an iPhone.
