Application development: Developed several web based applications for the UCR Libraries including: a content management system, online study room reservation system, search engine for the UCR Libraries website, phone bill management system, facilities work order system, online reserves request system for faculty and library staff, a student personnel database with an integrated time clock system, work ticket system, statistical analysis tools, and graphical design. Work with clients during the planning, development, and testing of web based applications. Develop user interfaces that are easy-to-use and have a clean design. Setup and administer WordPress MU for the UCR Libraries blogs. Train staff and prioritize feature requests for existing applications.
System administration: Provide technical support for staff, deploying software, installing and troubleshooting software applications, maintain Windows/Linux servers, configure and update Apache web servers and MySQL database servers, and upgrade hardware.
