Apple has started sending the tracking information on Monday 10/10/2011 for the iPhone 4S preorders via e-mail. If you ordered early Friday from Apple (before 7am), you should be getting your tracking information shortly.

AT&T is starting to update the status of their iPhone 4S orders from backordered to processed. Verizon and Sprint have sent shipping confirmation notices as well for their Apple iPhone 4S preorders.

I ordered my iPhone 4S at 2am PST on Friday 10/14 and received my tracking information a 2am on Monday. Apple will try to make sure that all preorders will arrive on Friday, October 14. It only takes one day to ship from the Foxconn factory to the USA via Air, so they should be able to make the deadline.

Missed the Pre-order?

You can still try to purchase the iPhone 4S at Sams Club. The iPhone 4S will be available for pre-order at most Sam’s Club locations beginning at 10:00 a.m. on October 11th on a first-come, first-served basis.
